Ex-student criticizes UNIZIK student for assaulting lecturer, makes fresh revelation
A Nigerian lady has spoken out in defense of Dr. Chukwudi, the UNIZIK lecturer who was assaulted by a female student, describing him as a kind and disciplined educator.
In a post shared on her X (formerly Twitter) page, she revealed that Dr. Chukwudi was her lecturer during her university days as a Theatre Arts student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK).
She expressed shock over the incident, emphasizing that anyone who knows him can attest to his good character.
She wrote:
“I know by now some of you must have seen the video of a female student assaulting a male lecturer because he ‘interrupted’ her TikTok video. But what you don’t know is that the man was my lecturer during my university days at UNIZIK. Dr. Chukwudi is one of a kind—very easygoing and disciplined.”
“Anyone who knows him can confirm this. It’s truly appalling to hear that a student from another department had the audacity to bite him, tear his clothes, and insult him.”
Her reaction follows reports that a female student of UNIZIK physically attacked Dr. Chukwudi after he asked her to move aside while she was recording a video on a walkway.
According to eyewitnesses, the lecturer lightly tapped the student and requested that she excuse him so he could pass.
However, she responded disrespectfully, prompting him to turn back to identify her department.
In an attempt to make her delete the video, he tried to seize her phone, leading to a struggle that resulted in the phone breaking.
As he held her to prevent her from escaping, the student retaliated by tearing his clothes and biting him.
The incident has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many people sharing their opinions in the comment section.
