Evidence floods internet as man who allegedly abandoned wife and kids proposes publicly to another woman
A Nigerian man, Femi, who is allegedly estranged from his wife and two children, has caused a stir by publicly proposing to another woman.
Evidence of his actions has flooded the internet.
A post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) shared by a user who claims to have witnessed the incident shows Femi kneeling to propose to a lady at a restaurant in Lekki.
Following the video of the proposal going viral, a social media user, @DijahMoon, posted evidence accusing Femi of abandoning his family and, at times, physically abusing his wife.
The full statement shared by @DijahMoon reads:
“Lol, is this not Gadus? A woman beater and narcissist. A man who has a wife and two kids but abandoned them for over a year. He beats the wife like gym bros beat punch bags—congrats to them, though. The evidence is everywhere, just in case.”
“Femi has two kids with his wife—I’d say ex-wife, but they’re not legally divorced. The abuse started after the second child was born. He would lock them outside and only open the kitchen when he was around.”
“Gadus is not only a woman beater but also a deadbeat father. Listen to the voice notes attached. The evidence is plenty. ‘I’ve forgotten them.’ Omo meji.”
“I ask again, is this not Femi? The same Femi who proposed to another woman today? The same Femi who told his children’s mother, ‘What can you do? Nobody in your family is successful, so no one can fight for you.’ Come take care of your kids, Gadus the Anthony Joshua.”
“This is when Femi married Tolu and when one of the kids was christened. Femi, the lover boy, go and take responsibility for your kids. To the new woman, I hope you don’t end up like Tolu. You might know what he did to her—or maybe you’ve been wrapped in a web of lies.”
“For those pushing for a DNA test, she’s not holding him back, but Gadus certainly deflowered her.”
@DijahMoon added that Femi assaulted his wife, even though he married her a virgin. She also mentioned that the lady Femi proposed to may or may not be aware of his past behavior toward his wife.
