“Everybody linked to death of Mohbad will be identified” ― Police assures Nigerians
The Lagos State Police Command has assured Nigerians and fans of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad that everyone linked to his death will be identified.
The Command said this on Monday as it inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of the Nigerian singer.
The state commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa while addressing the press said, “Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement.”
Recall that Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died mysteriously at the age of 27 last week Tuesday.
Naira Marley, while mourning the death of Mohbad described him as “more than an artiste or signee but brother and dear friend” to him.
He said this via his Instagram handle last Friday night, in a statement personally signed by him, on behalf of the Marlian Record label.
Meanwhile, over 250,000 Nigerians have signed up to a petition seeking justice for the late Mohbad, whom they believed suffered abuse and violence, which allegedly led to his death.
