EPL: Salah stars as Liverpool hammer West Ham 5-0

Liverpool cruised to a 5-0 win over West Ham at the London Stadium, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points.

Goals from Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota ensured a resounding win for Arne Slot’s side, who now look unstoppable both domestically and in Europe.

Diaz opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a drilled shot into the bottom corner, while Gakpo doubled the lead shortly after, capitalizing on a deflected ball from Salah.

Salah then added a third before halftime with a precise strike, marking his 17th Premier League goal of the season.

Alexander-Arnold made it 4-0 in the second half with a deflected long-range effort, his first goal of the season.

Substitute Jota completed the rout in the closing minutes following a counter-attack led by Salah, who also provided two assists in a stellar performance.
