EPL: Manchester United eye Bayern Munich’s De Ligt for defensive backup

De Ligt’s potential arrival at Old Trafford comes with a huge price tag of approximately £70 million. This financial hurdle may pose a challenge for the Red Devils, even though the pursuit of defensive stability remains their top priority.

United manager Erik Ten Hag, has expressed his interest in bolstering the team’s backline. In response to the defensive concerns, Ten Hag said, “We are continuously looking for ways to improve our squad, and De Ligt is certainly a player of interest.”
