Shortly after the break, Phil Foden’s run down the right flank set up Rodri, who extended City’s lead with a composed finish past Burnley’s goalie James Trafford.
Guardiola was able to reintroduce Erling Haaland, who had been sidelined with an injury, although the striker appeared slightly unfeat.
