#EdoDecides2024: Voters protest lack of election result sheets at polling stations

There was an electoral setback in Ward 8, unit 1, Orhionmwon, Orhionmwon Local Government Area, during the Edo State gubernatorial race.

An online video purporting to show voters in the aforementioned district protesting over the lack of election result sheets has left them visibly agitated.

However, the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were unable to provide the sheets, stating that they were on their way.

This led to further frustration among the voters, who refused to participate in an election without result sheets.

Recall that since the start of the election, there have been news concerning the development as  the Nigeria Police Force has reported that two political goons were taken into custody in Edo State by its agents.

The Force said that as part of its attempts to stop election-related violence, the individuals were captured following a nocturnal raid at several sites.
