#EdoDecides2024: LGA results for the 2024 Edo state governorship election
Results from the keenly contested Edo State Governorship election, held yesterday across the South-South state, have begun to roll in.
Gistreel reported earlier that residents turned out in large numbers to vote across the three major zones of the state: Edo South, Central, and North.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently announcing results from each local government.
Supporters of the PDP, APC, and Labour Party are anxiously awaiting the final declaration of the winner by the electoral body.

PDP’s Ighodalo wins polling unit
According to the result announced at Ward 1 unit 3, Okaigben Ewohim, Ighodalo polled 200 votes, while APC trailed with 45 votes.
