‘ Do Nigerians really pay taxes?- Bashir Ahmad asks Omotola Jalade Ekeinde

Bashir Ahmad, an assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, has justified his comment to actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde which currently has the both of them trending on social media.

It all started yesterday when Omotola stated that the country under the watch of President Buhari and his VP Osinbajo is hellish.

This didn’t sit well with the presidency who responded through Bashir Ahmad whose tweeted was taken by the actress to be an insinuation that she only raised her voice against the Buhari administration because she no longer gets free money from politicians.

Well, Bashir Ahmad has clarified his tweet by pointing out that the reason things are hard in Nigeria is because the people don’t pay taxes.

“There are problems, and some have been with us since 1950s. Yes, I am partisan and I replied you because you mentioned @MBuhari and @ProfOsinbajo ’s govt which I am working in. We as Nigerians, can you honestly say we are all acting like we have problems? Do we really pay taxes”
