DJ Cuppy becomes first Nigerian to host youth session at UNGA
Renowned disc jockey, DJ Cuppy makes history as the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Cuppy served as the moderator for the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA, which was themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”
In addition to her role as moderator, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola delivered a musical performance following her keynote speech.
Her session marked the largest youth gathering in the history of the UN Headquarters.

Notable figures present at the event included the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and the President of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves.
