Couple welcomes baby after praying with faith, holding clothes like baby during hallelujah challenge

A Nigerian couple has joyfully welcomed a baby after an inspiring faith-filled experience during the Hallelujah Challenge.

In a video shared on TikTok, the couple recounted their journey, revealing a surprising discovery they made after the prayer session.

The footage showed them holding a piece of cloth as though it were a baby while praying fervently for a child.

Unexpectedly, a later scene in the video showed the wife lying on a hospital bed, where it was revealed that she had already been pregnant before the Hallelujah Challenge—something they only discovered after a medical scan.

By October, she gave birth to their child, and in gratitude for what they consider a miracle, the couple shared their testimony online to celebrate and inspire others.

The woman wrote in part:  

“That night, I wanted to stuff clothes in my tummy to represent pregnancy, but the Holy Spirit told me to use the clothes as a representation of a baby instead.”

“So my husband and I held the clothes as though it was an actual baby. I was even telling him to carry the baby carefully.”
