“Clients who paid me to book Shallipopi for event are threatening” – Show Promoter cries out (Video)
A show promoter has recently come forward claiming that rising singer Crown Uzama, known by his stage name Shallipopi, was arrested before his scheduled performance in Ghana.
The promoter revealed that the artiste and his manager, Ajayi Hafeez, were apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on allegations of internet fraud.
According to EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren, Shallipopi and his manager were among 31 individuals arrested, including four females, as part of a wider investigation into cybercrime.
