Chelsea linked to PSG striker Kolo Muani, but January move unlikely
Chelsea have been linked with a potential move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports from Foot Mercato.
The French striker, who joined PSG in the summer of 2023 for €75 million from Eintracht Frankfurt, has struggled to find regular playing time under manager Luis Enrique, making only 14 appearances this season.
PSG are reportedly open to a loan deal with an option to buy for the 25-year-old, whose form has failed to meet expectations.
However, reliable sources, including Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport and Bobby Vincent of Football London, suggest a January transfer to Chelsea is unlikely.
The Blues are said to be focusing on long-term options for 2025 and remain committed to current striker Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea have seen an upturn in form after a poor start to the season and now sits fourth in the Premier League table.
The team have scored 38 league goals, ranking third behind Liverpool (45) and Tottenham (41).
Chelsea will round off 2024 with an away clash against Ipswich Town on Monday night.
