Chelsea have made no contacts with relegated Burnley manager Vincent Kompany to replace departed Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino recently reached a mutual agreement with the club to leave, despite finishing strong with the Blues in his first season.
Chelsea finished sixth, securing a European spot that dangles between Europa League and Conference League.
Their place will be confirmed with the result of the upcoming FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in their search for a new manager, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that despite the links, Kompany has not been contacted by Chelsea.
The Manchester City legend is said to only have discussion in place with Bayern Munich.
“Vincent Kompany has still not received any call from Chelsea despite links with the job.
“Kompany remains in contact with FC Bayern as revealed on Monday, talks took place and he’s keen on this chance.
“He’s waiting for Bayern to decide for their fav option in the list,” Romano added.
Kompany led Burnley into the English spotlight last season, but struggled to keep up, and falling back to relegation in his first season.
