Calafiori to complete Arsenal move this week – report

Riccardo Calafiori is set to undergo his medical with Arsenal this week, pending club’s announcement.

Transfer expert Matteo Moretto, reveals that the Italian defender is keen to finalize his move after weeks of negotiations between Arsenal and Bologna.

Moretto reported on X that Calafiori will undergo medical tests and sign his contract with the Premier League giants within the week.

The deal, valued at €50 million including add-ons, will see the 22-year-old defender strengthen Arsenal’s backline.

Football Italia indicates that Calafiori has agreed to a five-year contract worth €4 million per season.

However, until the move is officially completed, Calafiori is expected to rejoin his Bologna teammates for the second part of their pre-season preparations.
