Bundesliga: Kane set records with stunning Bundesliga hat-trick for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has made history as he became the first player to have the fastest start in the German Bundesliga.
The English captain delivered an outstanding performance against Bochum on Saturday, securing a hat-trick and two assists for Bayern Munich.
Kane’s three-goal spectacle was the highlight of the game that ended 7-0 in favour of Bayern.
In only 12 minutes, Kane found the net, marking his fifth league goal of the season. This achievement placed him in the same league as legends Gerd Muller, Miroslav Klose, and Mario Mandzukic for the most goals scored in the first five Bundesliga fixtures for the club.
Muller, a German football icon, secured an impressive 365 Bundesliga goals during his 15-year stint at Bayern Munich from 1964 to 1979. Kane’s scoring spree has now seen him surpass this record.
The Englishman continued to contribute to Bayern’s commanding lead in the game at half-time, with assists and a penalty goal.
His performance made him the first player in Bayern Munich’s history to score six times in his initial five Bundesliga games.
Furthermore, he also made history by directly participating in ten goals during his first five Bundesliga appearances.
