Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen continue unbeaten run with 3-2 win against RB Leipzig

Bayer Leverkusen secured a 3-2 win over RB Leipzig, maintaining their unbeaten run and top position in the Bundesliga table.

Despite a dominant start by Leipzig, it was Xavi Simons who opened the scoring for the hosts in the seventh minute.

Leipzig successfully held the 1-0 lead at halftime; however, the second half was filled with more action as Nathan Tella and Jonathan Tah scored for Leverkusen, leveling the strike from Loïs Openda.

With the game at 2-2 in the closing stages, Piero Hincapié scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner for Leverkusen, sealing the victory.

The result keeps Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga standings, even with Bayern Munich’s upcoming fixture.
