Buhari Names Railway Station After Goodluck Jonathan
President Muhammadu Buhari has named the Railway Complex in Agbor, Delta State after ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, made the announcement today, July 18, 2020.
The presidential aide quoted Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, as saying the facility will be known as the Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station & Complex.
The railway station is the operational hub of the Itakpe-Warri rail line.
Meanwhile, Jonathan is currently in Mali as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Special Envoy.
He is leading the body’s mediation mission and is charged with the responsibility of bringing peace to the feuding country.
