BREAKING: 3 University of Calabar students allegedly kidnapped

An unconfirmed report from an online source alleges the kidnapping of Damilola Dickson, Ugwu Chukwuemeka, and Ojang Precious Ebejin, all 3 students of the University of Calabar, UNICAL.

This information was shared in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) by a media user.

Taking to her media page to announce the shocking news, she wrote: “Damilola Dickson, a final year student of the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology, has been kidnapped in UNICAL. She is an only child and has just five months to graduate.”

“Ugwu Chukwuemeka, a 300-level student of Genetics and Biotechnology, and Ojang Precious Ebejin, a 200-level student of Medicine and Surgery, are also allegedly kidnapped.”

She sought permission from notable persons to help with information that would aid in the safety of the allegedly kidnapped students.

She added: “We plead with tears in our eyes to the University of Calabar security team, the Commissioner of Police, and the State Government of Cross River State.”
