Bobi, world’s oldest dog marks 31st birthday
Bobi, a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo dog, celebrates its 31st birthday, making it the world’s oldest living dog on record, as recognized by Guinness World Records.
His owner, Leonel Costa, who is 38 years old, announced that a ‘bone-ified’ birthday bash would be held in Portugal in honour of Bobi’s milestone.
The party in the village of Conqueiros on Saturday will be attended by 100 guests, including visitors from other countries.
Costa shared with Guinness World Records that looking at Bobi reminds him of his loved ones who have passed away, such as his father, brother, and grandparents, and that the dog represents those generations.
