Bob Marley’s granddaughter picks Burna Boy for “dream” collaboration
Zuri Marley, the granddaughter of the late Jamaican reggae musician Bob Marley, says Burna Boy will be perfect for a dream collaboration.
Zuri Marley stated that the only artist she would have liked to work with alongside her grandfather is Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
She revealed this recently at the London premiere of the film ‘Bob Marley: One Love’.
She stated that she had given it careful consideration and was persuaded that Burna Boy was the only musician whose work with her grandfather she would have enjoyed seeing.
Miss Marley said: “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite.”
