“Being in a relationship and not receiving gifts on Valentine’s Day is grounds for breakup” — Fashion designer says

Fashion designer sparks debate as he states that being in a relationship and not getting a gift on Valentine’s Day is enough grounds to end the relationship.

The young man shared his controversial opinion to his page on the microblogging platform, X, @hamiltonawah.

He holds the belief that such days are special and should be planned ahead of time.

According to him, being financially low on money should not be an excuse as that is a revered day for lovers and should be mapped out for, before time.

He wrote;

“I dunno how to explain this but being in a relationship and not receiving anything from your partner on Valentine’s Day is enough grounds for breakup. Events should be planned 2months ahead of time.”
