In a widely shared video on the internet, Sooj could be seen professing love to Nelly while holding onto his ancestral necklace.
In a heartwarming moment, he vowed to always stand by her and questioned if she is also willing to stand him in situations when the going gets tough and world is against him.
In his words: “I will stand by you. Do you agree to stand by me in those situations when the going gets rough and the world is against me? Do you promise that you will stand by me no matter the cause?”
Nelly said “Yes” and received the necklace, sealing and solidifying the bond between the both of them, according to Sooj.
He revealed that the necklace was passed down from his great grandmother to his grandmother to his mother.
Sooj said that he took it accidentally to the house but now that she has it, he has no regrets.
Nelly confirmed that she never knew that Sooj was such a sweet and nice person.
