BBNaija S9: “I was ashamed to have a child at young age” – Rhuthee

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemate Rhuthee has shared her experiences of becoming a mother at a young age.

During a conversation with fellow housemate Mayor Frosh on Wednesday, Rhuthee reflected on her early experiences of motherhood, revealing her initial struggles with shame and self-doubt.

In the conversation, Rhuthee disclosed how she struggled with telling others she was a parent.

Describing her feelings of embarrassment, she said:

“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child,” she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.”

“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me,” Rhuthee added.
