BBNaija: Nelita defies all odds, becomes last standing duo

In a historic twist on the Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ edition, the defunct Nelita duo, Nelly and Anita emerge as the only former pair to be finalists for the show’s grand finale.

The popular reality show, which kicked off on July 28, introduced 14 pairs of contestants, totalling 28 housemates.

As part of the show’s format, each pair had to work together for a chance to survive eliminations, with the dynamic of teamwork playing a key role.

On September 2, however, the housemates were unpaired, forcing them to compete solo in the tough environment.

Nelita – The last standing duo

Despite the unpairing, Nelita’s Nelly and Anita have defied the odds and made it to the final stage of the competition, solidifying their status as a standout duo.

On Sunday, September 29, their achievement became official after members of the remaining three notable duos—Mbadiwe Twins, DoubleKay, and Aces—faced elimination. The evicted housemates, Ocee, Topher, and Kassia, were sent packing, narrowing the competition down to the top eight.

The finalists for this season include Kellyrae, Victoria, Wanni, Onyeka, Ozee, Anita, Nelly, and Sooj. With N100 million at stake, fans are eagerly anticipating next Sunday’s grand finale, where one housemate will walk away with the prize money.
