BBNaija: “I never had eyes for him, never” – Nelly shuts down claims of romantic interest in Shaun
BBNaija star, Nelly has responded to claims suggesting she had romantic feelings for ex-housemate, Shaun during their time on the show.
Her statement comes just days after the conclusion of the BBNaija season 9 reality TV show.
In a private conversation with Ebuka, fellow housemate Wanni revealed that Nelly was interested in Shaun and made moves towards him, but Shaun remained disciplined and did not reciprocate.
Wanni added that if Shaun truly wanted Nelly, he could have pursued her.
Less than 24 hours after Wanni’s remarks, Nelly dismissed these claims in an interview with Ebuka. She firmly stated that she never had feelings for Shaun.
While she acknowledged that they had engaged in discussions at the start of the show, she clarified that she ended any romantic interest upon realizing Wanni was also interested in him.
When asked if she might reconsider a relationship with Shaun in the future, Nelly categorically replied “no,” emphasizing her disinterest.
