Bayern Munich agree personal terms with Xavi Simons

Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain forward Xavi Simons.

The 21-year-old Dutchman, who impressed during a successful loan spell with RB Leipzig, has been a target for Bayern following his standout season in Saxony.

Simons scored 10 goals and registered 15 assists in 43 appearances for Leipzig.

Despite this, he has maintained that he will not decide on his future until after the Euro 2024 tournament, where he is currently representing the Netherlands.

With Bayern Munich and Leipzig leading the race for his signature, and PSG also an option, Simons’ future has been the subject of much speculation.

Sky Sports Germany reports that Simons is unlikely to remain at PSG, clearing the way for Bayern to pursue the deal.

Bayern is said to have agreed on key contract details with Simons’ management, including contract length and salary.

Additionally, Bayern will need to negotiate the transfer terms with PSG, which could involve either a loan-to-buy arrangement or a permanent transfer.
