Atalanta tempted to sell Lookman following huge bid from Al Ittihad

Serie A giants Atalanta have been tempted with a huge offer by Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad for Ademola Lookman.

The Nigerian international had an impressive campaign with Atalanta last season, helping the club to their record UEFA Europa League title.

Lookman scored all three goals in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Over the 2023/24 season, the 26-year-old netted 17 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions, earning him Atalanta’s Player of the Season award.

Atalanta, as reported by Tuttomercato, confirmed the bid and stated, “We have received an official offer (for Lookman) from Al Ittihad. We will see what’s best for the player and discuss it with the club.”

Lookman joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig for €9 million in 2022.
