“As church no pay, make him try babalawo” – Reactions as Yul Edochie speaks about deities
Popular actor, Yul Edochie causes a buzz on social media as he speaks on the tradition of worshipping deities.
The movie star who recently announced the opening of his own ministry spoke against the burning of shrines and deities.
According to him many deities exist which are not evil and should be respected.
He stated that foreigners had deceived people into thinking that their deities are evilz whereas this wasn’t the case.
Yul Edochie warned people against burning of idols deities, just because they don’t understand it.
He wrote:
“Stop burning shrines and deities. Not all deities are evil.
Oyibo convinced us that all our ways are evil so we could discard our ways & embrace theirs, making slavery easy. We need to wake up & start embracing our tradition.
Many deities acknowledge God Almighty.
Burning them could bring you perpetual trouble.
If you don’t understand something, leave it. if it’s not disturbing you, don’t disturb it.
