Arsenal 3-0 Nottingham Forest: Gunners cruise as Nwaneri nets first Premier League goal

Arsenal ended their four-game winless run in the Premier League with 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, with teenager Ethan Nwaneri scoring his first league goal.

Bukayo Saka, fresh from skipping international duty to recover from a knock, starred with an early opener and an assist for Thomas Partey’s second-half goal.

The 22-year-old proved once again why he is vital to Mikel Arteta’s plans with his creativity throughout the match.

Arsenal started strongly, with early chances from Leandro Trossard and Jurrien Timber before Saka broke the deadlock.

A brilliant solo run saw him cut three defenders before rifling the ball past Forest keeper Matz Sels.

Forest struggled to pose any real threat, with James Ward-Prowse’s free kicks their only source of hope.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s captain Martin Odegaard controlled the midfield with a seamless return from injury, linking up with Saka and Trossard.

The Gunners doubled their lead shortly after halftime.

Saka, once again the catalyst, teed up Partey, whose precise shot from the edge of the box beat Sels.

Despite a brief spell of possession for Forest, Arsenal’s defense remained untroubled.

Teenage prodigy Ethan Nwaneri added the finishing touch late in the game, converting Raheem Sterling’s cutback to seal a perfect afternoon for the hosts.

Nwaneri’s strike proved his Arsenal’s bright future and capped off a dominant outing.
