Another lady wins Kia car in Glo Festival of Joy promo

Lagos hosted its first prize presentation in the ongoing Glo Festival of Joy promo at Adeola Odeku Gloworld, Victoria Island on Tuesday, November 29, with a Lagos-based businesswoman, Vivian Nkiruka Chukwuleke emerging as the winner of a brand new Kia car. The Imo-born Chukwuleke has thus become the second lady to win a car in the promo.

Earlier, 34 –year-old Event Planner, Mrs. Adeife Adeyemi-Abiodun, drove away the first Kia car in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Speaking at the event, a very happy Chukwuleke said, “I first got a call from someone who introduced herself as a Glo official and said she was calling from the venue of the draw and that I had won a car. I was scared at first, knowing that scammers could also be trying to con me. But when I was told to take my documents to the Gloworld nearest to me, I knew that I had actually won the car”, she said, adding that Globacom had given her a huge gift to send her as she prepares to quit spinsterhood next year.

At the event, Chukwuleke received the keys to a brand new Kia Rio car from Oniru of Iru/Victoria Island, His Royal Majesty, Oba  Gbolahan Lawal, while other Nigerians went home with sewing machines, generators, and rechargeable fans.

All the winners were full of gratitude to Globacom for delighting Nigerians with the empowerment promo. A Generator Technician based in Ilasa, Lagos,  Alli Morufu who won a Rechargeable Fan, explained that he had never won anything before in a promo. He said, “I have been a loyal and consistent subscriber of Globacom and it is great that I too have won something now”.

Also, a generator winner, Olubunmi Idowu Jayeola, who works in a government hospital, thanked Globacom for the prize. She said the prize came at the right time, adding that it will help her improve the business she recently started as a side hustle.A Travel Consultant, Elijah Ibagbeola is another lucky winner.  He described the sewing machine he won as a miracle, adding that it will be given to his wife, a Tailor by profession.

Also speaking at the event, Assistant Director at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Mr. Moses Iyi, stated that Festival of Joy was approved by the regulatory body and that the NCC has been following the processes to ensure transparency and also to ensure that subscribers are adequately rewarded.

Also, the Head, of Legal Services at the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Gloria Ireka, commended Globacom for being faithful since the promo commenced a few weeks ago adding that “ I encourage them to keep it up”.
