Amorim admits Moyes doing better job as Man United prepare for Everton clash

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted that former Red Devils boss David Moyes is performing better than him at Everton as his side endures a difficult run of form.
Moyes has led Everton to four wins in six Premier League games since replacing Sean Dyche in January, lifting them above United in the table.
Meanwhile, Amorim’s team has suffered eight defeats in their last 12 league matches ahead of their trip to Goodison Park on Saturday.
“The simple thing is that David Moyes is doing a better job than me,” Amorim said. “Winning one game, winning two games—that belief makes a difference.
“The pressure is not the same, but we have to give credit to Everton’s players and their coach.”
United sit 15th in the league, one place below Everton. This weekend’s fixture will mark the first time since 2014 that the Red Devils have faced the Toffees while being beneath them in the standings.
Amorim, who took over in November, has managed only nine wins in 21 games in all competitions.
He acknowledged that his players have struggled to adapt to his 3-4-3 system and previously described the squad as “the worst” in United’s history.
He will have Christian Eriksen, Leny Yoro, and Manuel Ugarte back from injury as United look to turn their form around.
Meanwhile, United have been drawn against Real Sociedad in the Europa League last 16.
But Amorim emphasized that his focus remains on improving results in the league rather than thinking about potential trophies.
