Al-Ahli joins race for Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman

Al-Ahli have emerged the latest side racing to sign Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman, joining a growing list of interested clubs.

Transfer expert Rudi Galetti reports that the Saudi Pro League club are now seriously considering a move for the Nigerian international.

Earlier in the summer, another Saudi club, Al-Ittihad, had shown interest in Lookman but withdrew after failing to reach an agreement with Atalanta.

Despite the setback, clubs in the league continue to attract top talent from Europe, with Al-Ahli now aiming to secure Lookman’s services.

Atalanta has reportedly set a price tag of around €70 million for the 26-year-old, reflecting his significant contributions to the team.

Lookman had an impressive campaign last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

In addition to the Saudi clubs, Lookman has also been linked with European giants Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea.
