AFCON 2025Q: Super Eagles depart for Libya clash in Benghazi

The Super Eagles left Nigeria on Sunday morning for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier second leg against Libya.

The team are set to face the Mediterranean Knights on matchday four of the qualifiers.

Initially scheduled to fly into Tripoli and travel by road to Benghazi, the team altered their plans to avoid unnecessary strain.

Instead, they boarded a chartered flight, with a brief stopover in Kano, before continuing to Benghazi.
