AFCON 2025 qualifier: Super Eagles camp swells to 20 players

The Super Eagles‘ camp in Uyo is buzzing with activity as 20 players have now arrived ahead of their double against Libya.

The team, based at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, came to life on Tuesday morning with the arrival of nine players.

By the end of the day, an additional 11 players had joined the squad.

Notably, Kelechi Iheanacho, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Chidera Ejuke are yet to report for duty.

The 20 players in camp already participated in their first training session at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The session was open to both the media and the public, giving fans a glimpse of the team’s preparations.

The Super Eagles are gearing up to face Libya in a crucial 25 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The first leg takes place on Friday 11th at Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo, as they aim to maintain their strong position at the top of Group D.
