Adesanya salutes Salah after Liverpool star used his celebration in Man United win

Israel Adesanya has acknowledged Mohamed Salah’s homage after the Liverpool forward used his iconic celebration.

Salah, who scored and provided two assists in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, celebrated his goal by mimicking Adesanya’s signature archer gesture.

In his post-match interview, Salah explained the inspiration behind the celebration, referencing Adesanya’s UFC victory over Alex Pereira.

“I was watching the UFC – Alex Pereira against Israel Adesanya.

“When he [Adesanya] won the second fight against Pereira, he celebrated like that because Pereira beat him in the first one. I like the celebration, that’s why I do it,” Salah said.

Adesanya, known as ‘The Last Stylebender,’ responded to Salah’s tribute on social media with a simple message: “Each one teach one.”
