Adekunle Gold replies a follower who said his song ‘Ire’ has been his ringtone for three years

Nigerian singer Adekunle Kosoko popularly known as Adekunle Gold has replied a Twitter follower who complimented his song ‘Ire’.

The singer had earlier tweeted on his encounter with a gentleman who named his daughter “Ire”

“A gentleman I don’t know just picked up my tab at a restaurant in Miami, his words “Thank you for that beautiful song Ire, I named my daughter aftre it” I couldn’t think of a higher honor. I’m moved.”, he tweeted.

A Twitter follower replied his tweet, revealing that the song “Ire” has been his phone ringtone for three years.

“Ire has been my ringtone for three years straight,” the follower wrote.

But he wasn’t telling the whole truth and Adekunle Gold set him straight.

“Ire that I released last year? Aww,” Adekunle replied.
