Abroad based man discovers girlfriend’s newborn baby on WhatsApp status
A Nigerian man based abroad recounts a heart-wrenching experience after finding out his girlfriend secretly dated another man, got pregnant, and gave birth while still claiming to be in a relationship with him.
In a viral video posted on TikTok by ITDBackup, the man recounted how he found out through WhatsApp status that his girlfriend had welcomed a newborn baby.
According to the Nigerian man based in Switzerland, he and the lady had been dating long-distance for over a year. Despite being physically apart, he maintained the relationship, frequently sending her money and engaging in regular video calls.
However, his world came crashing down when he stumbled upon her friend’s Whatsapp status, congratulating and announcing the birth of her baby.
The man revealed that he had not visited Nigeria during that period, which was when his girlfriend conceived and carried the pregnancy to term.
Shockingly, she continued the act, engaging in video calls with him throughout the nine months without raising any suspicion.
“That girl wan finish me. I dey go see her mama everytime, give them money but before I know, I hear say she born because I no go Nigeria for one year. She tell me say na mistake. You get belle for nine months and born am, you no tell me say you dey with another man,” he stated partly.
