“Arrest him with immediate effect” — Nigerians react to Diamond Platnumz copying style of Burna Boy and Asake
Nigerians have reacted to a viral video of Tanzanian musician, Diamond Platnumz mimicking Burna Boy and Asake in his new song’s video.
The Tanzanian musician is quite fond of sampling Nigerian music and has been called out numerous times by Nigerians.
However, he has refused to stop taking from the Nigerian culture, choosing to use it to promote his songs but in his own tribal language.
In this trending video, he can be seen dressing like both Asake and Burna Boy while singing in his native tongue and at some point, he’s heard saying, “Omalicha”, which is Igbo.
Many Nigerians have called for Diamond Platnumz to be sued and arrested with immediate effect.
