“Davido tried to give me money, I rejected it” – VeryDarkman

Popular activist, VeryDarkman has  opened up on his Lagos encounter with Davido as he speaks on how the singer tried to gift him money and pay for his Lagos apartment space for a year, but he rejected it..

It would be recalled that VeryDarkman had stirred murmurings on social media after he met with Davido in Lagos.

In his explanation of the events which transpired between him and the Afrobeat singer, VeryDarkman noted that Davido paid for the apartment space for a day and offered to pay for a whole year, which he declined.

He revealed that after staying one day in the room Davido booked, he moved down stairs and paid for a cheaper room.

The subsequent day, he moved out and went to stay with Seun Kuti.

VeryDarkman disclosed that Israel DMW called him and notified him that Davido wants to “do him well” by sending him some cash, but he declined.
