Ethiopian maid who worked for 30 years to sponsor son’s studies breaks down in tears as he flies home
Woman sheds tears of joy and surprise as she discovers her son, who studies she sponsored with her hard earned money, is now a pilot.
An emotional scene captured on camera shows the moment an Ethiopian maid who worked for 30 years to sponsor her son’s studies to become a pilot, cries emotionally as she discovers that her son’s the one flying the plane.
It was revealed that the Ethiopian woman had spent 30 years of her life working as a maid in Lebanon so as to make ends meet and pay for her son’s studies so he can become a pilot.
After many years in aviation school the son became a certified pilot.
It was an emotional moment for her when she boarded a plane and didn’t know what surprise lay in store for her.
Apparently the pilot son and other flight crew had arranged to surprise the mother.
When she boarded the and was shown her son, she couldn’t hold back her tears and she became overtly emotional.
Her son embraced her warmly, wiped off her tears then proceeded to show her a seat reserved for her with a table laden with cake.
