Darwish caught the attention of Hoyt Axton, an acclaimed American folk music singer, and his mother, Mae Axton, while singing at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood.
Tiffany Renee Darwish sang at the Ralph Emery Show in Nashville at the request of Mae Axton, where she demonstrated her prowess by singing Tammy Wynette’s “Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad” and Juice Newton’s “Queen of Hearts.” She travelled extensively throughout Alaska in 1982.
George Tobin, her manager until 1987, was greatly impressed after hearing one of her demo tapes and eventually agreed to a recording contract with her.
She was selected to appear in the American television talent hunt show ‘Star Search’ in 1985, along with the show’s presenter Ed McMahon, and finished in second place based on her overall performance.
MCA, an American media firm, gave her a recording contract. Tiffany Renee Darwish’s debut studio album, ‘Tiffany Renee Darwish,’ was published in 1987.
Her first single from the album, ‘Danny,’ bombed badly and never made it into the charts. Following the disaster, her manager, George Tobin, urged her to go on a statewide shopping centre tour.
Tiffany Renee Darwish embarked on a tour titled “The Beautiful You: Celebrating the Good Life Shopping Mall Tour ’87” as a result.
Following the conclusion of her promotional tour, the second song from her album, “I Think We’re Alone Now,” exploded in popularity.
It quickly rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This tune, released when she was 15, remains her biggest hit to date.

The album was met with mixed reactions from critics. However, it was a success in Japan. She was one of many celebrities who participated in the song “Voices That Care,” which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 11.
Tiffany’s reputation steadily declined during the 1990s, and she recorded her 1993 album “Dreams Never Die” after briefly rejoining with her prior manager Tobin.
The relocation did not go as planned, and her image was progressively fading from public consciousness. However, her 2000 album “Color of Silence” was able to significantly restore her image. The album garnered positive feedback from all relevant sources and was described as a pleasant surprise as well as one of the year’s top pop albums.
