Tony Elumelu reacts to President Tinubu’s alleged plans to make him CBN governor

Popular business tycoon, Tony Elumelu has denied claims that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu intends to make him the next CBN governor.

The billionaire debunked the claims while responding to a tweet made by an X user who made the report.

According to the X user with the handle Imran Muhammad, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is considering Tony as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“According to a Source President Tinubu is also considering Tony O. Elumelu as CBN Governor,” the user wrote.

In reaction, Tony Elumelu claimed it is false news.

“LOL. No, please. This is false news! 🙏🏾,” he wrote in response.
