A Bolt ride in Port Harcourt took an unexpected turn when a driver, who goes by the username @virginbishop, confronted a female passenger about what he claimed was a strong body odour emanating from her.
The heated exchange was recorded in a video that has since gone viral.
In the now-viral video, the Bolt driver, @virginbishop, is heard expressing his concerns to the passenger.
“Madam no vex, you carry anything wey dey smell? The smell too much,” the driver said in the video.
The female passenger denied having any items in her possession that could cause the unpleasant odor.
However, the driver was not easily convinced and accused her of having body odor.
“Maybe na your body na. I don endure tire. The thing dey smell and I no fit bear am again,” he added.
The exchange escalated when the passenger, seemingly offended by the driver’s accusation, retorted by boasting that the driver could not afford the perfume she used.
She attempted to stop him from recording the incident, but the driver remained persistent, asserting that the video would serve as evidence in case the passenger reported him to the Bolt company.
The confrontation eventually led to the driver ordering the lady to exit the car.
The passenger complied, departing the scene while hurling insults at the driver.
Notably, the Bolt driver chose not to accept any payment from the passenger for the ride.
