Davido drops new ‘Jaye Lo’ video without controversial Muslim scene
Famous Nigerian superstar, Davido, born David Adeleke, has released the official video of his signee, Logos Olori’s single titled ‘Jaye Lo’.
The new video comes weeks after Davido deleted the initial video on his official handles, following criticism over a religious scene in the song.
Recall that Davido had in July come under attacks by the Muslim community who found some scenes in the controversial video of ‘Jaye lo’ offensive.
Sharing the new video on Friday, checks showed that the controversial scene from the initial video was taken off.
Capturing the video, Davido wrote: “The official visuals to @logosolori Jaye Lo single Out Now. 30BG let’s run it up.
“This video too swag abeg. Olori Gbemidebe 2.0 ACTIVATED.”

On July 24, Davido deleted the much controversial music video of his Logos Olori after facing intense backlash online.
Davido came under extensive and heavy backlash after he posted a snippet video of his signee’s song ‘Jaye Lo’ which was shot outside a mosque and depicted Muslims observing thier Salah prayers.
This had caused many to seethe with displeasure and they wasted no time in calling out the singer over what they considered to be grave disrespect to their religion.
