“Nigeria breaks my heart everyday” – Simi bemoans

Popular Nigerian soul singer and songwriter Simisola Ogunleye aka Simi bewail over the harsh economic situation in the country.

The multi-award winning singer took to her official Twitter page on Wednesday August 9, 2023 to deplore how heart-broken she is to witness the everyday struggles Nigerians go through to survive.

The mother of one wonders daily how people in the country cope with the high cost of living.

She expressed her concern over the well-being of fellow citizens in the country saying;

“Nigeria just breaks my heart a little more everyday. How are people surviving?”
