Basketmouth’s ex-wife Elsie reacts to news of AY’s mansion and properties worth millions getting destroyed

Basketmouth’s former wife, Elsie Okpocha, has reacted to news of AY’s house getting destroyed by fire.

A video of the sad incident posted online by one of A.Y’s neighbours, has gone viral. According to reports, A.Y’s wife, Mabel, and their two daughters were not in Nigeria at the time of the accident.

AY in his reaction, thanked his wife and his fans for standing by him and being a pillar of support during this difficult time.

In his words:
“Pain can be temporary when you find yourself with the right partner to journey with. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

“As we continue to walk through the journey of life together, we shall replace the lies of the enemies with the truth of God. One thing we know for sure is that God never takes away something from your life without replacing it with something better.

“Thanks to everyone of you for thinking of us during this difficult time. It is so wonderful to know that we are on your minds and in your prayers. THE GRACEFUL WALK TO GLORY CONTINUES.”

Elsie Okpocha joined a host of others to console the comedian saying, “My thoughts and prayers are with you.”
