“We won’t talk about you” – Ghanaians snub Yul Edochie after weighing into Ghana-Nigeria fight on ownership of highlife music
Controversial actor, Yul Edochie receives a cold response from Ghanaians as he weighs into online fight between Nigerians and Ghanaians over ownership of highlife music.
The much-talked-about media personality said that he recently chanced upon a video of Ghanaians laying claim of highlife music and knows that the world wants to hear his own view on the ongoing debate.
Making his own stance known, Yul declared emphatically that highlife music belongs to Nigeria and it started with highlife giants such as Oliver de Coque, Sir Warrior and other big names that were extremely gifted in the genre.
His statement sparked mixed reactions, particular of note were from Ghanaians who dismissed him as a clout chaser.
