“Its giving ritual vibes” – Lady treating skin allows live snail crawl on her face
Social media users have gone haywire after a video of a lady with a live snail crawling on her face popped up for her skin care.
A video from a Nigerian beauty spa where a lady was seen lying down calmly allowed live snails to crawl on her face. The lady seems to be undergoing a skincare routine at the spa.
In the video shared by @haykraftbeautystudio, it could be seen that the snail moved around the lady’s face, starting from the nose area and then on her eyelids.
The owner of the spa, Odutola Ayomide, explained in the video that snail slime helps in facial cleansing.
“It is called snail facial. It acts as anti-aging property, helps fade stretch marks and scarring, treats bacteria, and treats acne. It is very good for hydration, especially during hydraulic facials. It also helps to exfoliate the skin. Even some people use it for the body.”
