The lady took to TikTok to share her african mom’s unexpected reaction after she asked for the rating on her new hairstyle.
After having recently gotten her hair done she needed to hear her mom’s view on how it looks on her.
She got her hair done in a flowing brown style that complemented her color seamlessly.
When she asked her mom for the review, her mom, in the usual African mom response, asked her why she got her hair colored brown.
The scene quickly switched to an interrogation as the mother asked her whether she hasn’t warned her before never to do colored hair in her house.
The lady defended herself by telling the mother that she’s 21 years old and pays her own rent and can do whatever color she likes.
Her mom, not yielding to defeat easily, asked why she now wanted her review when she already got the style done.
